Freedom!

Three contrasting styles

Well, the day has come and my crew leave. They were up early since they have a 9.30 train to catch to Helsinki.  Fran, the bead lady and novice crew, was enthusing about her success last night in securing a ticket for La Traviata at the castle.  She’d sat outside the entrance until the last minute and had been offered a ticket for free when a lady from Finland couldn’t find a buyer.  Fran enjoyed the opera and hit a few top Cs this morning when she couldn’t conceal her excitement at telling everyone.  She had also gone for a shower and discovered how it worked whilst still fully dressed.  More top Cs!

Joyce, the little sweetie, didn’t change her routine one iota.  Off to the loos first thing.  Then back for the mandatory balanced breakfast on board.  To be followed by preparing copious amounts of food for the train journey.

Penny, the glamorous 70 year old, saw to her make-up.  She goes nowhere, does nothing without full warpaint.  But she had done a fantastic job of cleaning Toytown’s hull with the magic gunge I’d bought in Mariehamn, so I’ll forgive her almost anything.

But now they’ve gone and I’m smiling again!
