Keep away from those snakes

Hi Lee enjoyed reading the latest instalments of your new life. Gosh it sounds a challenge and we really admire your strength of spirit when you are up against it. It must be very hard sometimes to face all of it alone, but remember all your friends are rooting for you and like us following your news closely. Keep strong don't forget to keep up with your singing, it lifts the spirits quicker than anything I know. Remember I want to hear you when you get home. Love from your friends Pam & Tony xxxxx
Tennis and storms

Hello Lee good to see you have not lost your touch, either with the girls or tennis balls. Also touched to see my cousin mentioned in despatches. You will have to see if she is up for a game when she returns from her latest boat trip. Keep safe and sailing, fingers crossed for fair winds. With love Pam & Tony xx

Hi you two.
The fall put me out of action for a couple of days but I'm fine now. I am out of the Finnish lakes and have 'escaped' Russian territory in the Saimaa Canal. It's good to be out - there was just a 'heavy' presence all the time I was there.
I'm on my way back to Helsinki now and have had a couple of great days. Under sail all day today which makes a change. I normally have to motor for at least part of the day. The sun is blisteringly hot at the moment but the water is so full of pollen I can't take a swim!
Have you two had a holiday this year yet. Turkish Gulet perhaps? One of your favourites I seem to recall.
Keep in touch.
Best wishes,
Lee

Hi Lee
Ashamed to say (to real sailor) that we had a relaxing cruise - post David's wedding, from Venice down dalmatian coast through the Greek islands and finished at Athens. It was absolutely lovely, we pigged out on food and drink, and we are now loving the great heat wave. Looking forward to the next instalment of your blog, raising a morning cup of tea to you. Keep safe, love Pam & Tony xx
Keeping an eye on you now !

Keep writing so nice to know where you are, Tony raising a glass to you as we are having a heatwave here !

So it's you I have to blame! You have the sun whilst it's been raining here for three days and I'm beginning to fear autumn is already on the way. It's certainly been chillier for the past few days. I'm now thinking seriously of sailing to Tallin in Estonia. A fairly long voyage since I first have to navigate the Saimaa Canal which takes me back into Russia. Not looking forward to that! Then west to Helsinki before crossing the Baltic. If the weather is kind I could do it in 8-9 days. If not it could take weeks. I'll keep you posted.
Tell Tony I toast the two of you too. Good friends!
Lee

Hey Dad,
It sounds like you are bored out of your mind! I am so pleased you are doing this and just wish I was there for some of it (scuba tanks in hand of course!). Start planning next year's adventure and I will be along.
Look after yourself and definitely drink too much watching sunsets!!!
Love always Adam
